Running as A Standalone Installable

You can download the Chorus tarball and install it locally, if you want to run the interpreter from the command line You will need Java JDK 8+ installed on your system.

To install Chorus this way:

1. Download Chorus from the Releases page on the main Chorus repo
2. untar it
3. You can run Chorus using the chorus script in the top directory
4. Optionally add the unzipped directory containing chorus `to your system PATH
